Coronavirus Lockdown 4.0 - On Sunday, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) extended the nationwide lockdown by another two weeks till 31 May with some restriction. In an Order MHA has also issued some guidelines for the fourth phase of the lockdown. The MHA has issued guidelines to regulate and operate different activities in the lockdown period.The lockdown is extended so that the spread of virus which has reached above 90,000 infected people can come under the control.

States have given freedom to control and designate areas into Red, Orange and Green Zones after considering various parameter issued by the health ministry
The Centre has allowed intrastate transport in public and private vehicles.
Domestic and international air travel, metro rail services, and educational institutions will remain prohibited.
Restriction will continue on hospitality services like restaurants and hotels, cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums and swimming pools.
Mass gatherings of social, sports, religious, entertainment, academic, cultural and political nature won’t be allowed.
Prior to the Centre lockdown, states like Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Mizoram have extended the lockdown till May 31. In India the total number of coronavirus cases surpassed 90,927 mark, and death toll soared to 2,872 till sunday.

Activities will remain prohibited during Lockdown 4.0
The movement of individuals will remain strictly prohibited between 7 pm and 7 am, except for essential activities.
All domestic and international air travel of passengers, except for domestic medical services, domestic air ambulances and for security purposes or purposes as permitted by MHA will not operate.
All metro rail services will remain suspended.
School, colleges, educational/training/coaching institutions etc, will remain closed.
Hotels, restaurant and other hospitality services shall remain suspended.

Activities will be allowed during Lockdown 4.0
Hospitality services like health, government officials, police quarters, healthcare workers will continue to operates.
Railway stations, bus and airports will also be operational.
Home delivery of food items will be permitted by the Restaurants
Sports complexes and stadium will be permitted to open; however, spectators will not be allowed.
Online Classes and distance learning shall continue to be operated.
E- Commerce activities for non-essential goods are now permitted even in Red Zones.
Running of cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, running of taxis and cab aggregators will continue to operate with some restrictions.
Barber shops, spas and saloons will only be allowed in Orange and Green Zones.
Sale of liquor will be allowed with certain condition in all zones, except containment zones.
Inter-state movement of passenger vehicles and buses, with mutual consent of states and UT's involved, except in containment zones.
Inter-state movement of medical professionals, nurses and para-medical staff, sanitation personnel and ambulances will be allowed with consent of States/UT's without any restrictions.
All activities related to goods/cargoes and including empty trucks will be allowed in inter-states with the consent of States/UT's without any restriction.
Installation of Arogya Setu App is not Mandatory, But for your Own Safety from the virus the app can be downloaded.
According to the centre instruction all the activities will be allowed,with some restriction. Only those activities are prohibited which are specially declared by the government. However, States/UN's have given a freedom to designate areas into Various Zones after considering several parameter issued by the government.
