Indian Railways to run 200 Ac/Non Ac Train daily from June 1 - said by Railway minister.
On Tuesday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal decided to start the operation of 200 Non air conditioner train for the passenger. Earlier Railway Board has started the operation of 15 Shramik trains for the movement of migrant to their homes. Now, Indian Railway has decided to start the operation of additional 200 AC/Non AC trains for the passenger. which will operate daily from June 1.
Passengers will only book their ticket Online according to their category, Ticket will not be sold at any railway station. Passengers must not wait or gather on the railway station for the tickets. You can book your ticket online and board your trains at your nearest railway station.

Railway Minister Statement
Railway Minister said that ''these trains will be running in addition to the shramik special trains and Indian railway is planning to double the numbers of Shramik trains''
Railway Minister appeals to the migrants not to panic in this coronavirus crises. Efforts are being made to ensure that all of them are able to travel at their home states at the earliest.
He further added that ''all Efforts will be made to Board trains from railway station which is close to their existing location.''
Railway give ''great relief to worker'' after announcing 200 Non ac trains that will be runs daily from June 1 for the migrants workers.
Over 21.5 lakh migrants have been transported to their home states through Shramik Special trains in 19 days and operated more than 1,600 Shramik special trains till 19 May.
He further added that ''all Efforts will be made to Board trains from railway station which is close to their existing location.''
Goyal asked the ''state Government to locate the migrant workers and help the workers in register themselves in their nearest district headquarters and give the list to the railways, so that railway board can run shramik special trains.''

Railway Minister asked the state governments to identify and locate these migrants who are walking on roads to go to their home states and transport them to the nearest main line railway station after doing their registration at the nearest district headquarters and give a list of these travellers to the railway authorities so that arrangements can be made for their further travel through 'Shramik Special' trains.

i. Only online E-Ticketing will be done through IRCTC website or through Mobile App. No tickets will be booked across the reservation counter on any Railway Station. Booking of tickets through ‘agents’, (both IRCTC Agents and Railway Agents) shall not be permitted.
No catering charges shall be included in the fare. Provision for pre paid meal booking, e-catering shall be disabled.

List of Routes of 200 Ac/Non Ac Trains that will Operated from June 1.
- Railways will run 200 fully reserved trains with AC/Non-AC coaches from 1st June Onwards.
- Railway will start the operation of 100 pairs of trains from June 1 which include some popular train such as Sampark krantis, Durantos, Jan Shatabdis and Poorva express.
- Tickets will be available from 21st may at 10:00 am onwards on IRCTC website.(https://www.irctc.co.in/)
- Passengers can Booked their ticket online or through mobile application. However, the passengers with waiting ticket shall not be permitted to travel by the train.
- No Tatkal or premium tatkal booking services will not be allowed.
- All Passengers have to reach 90 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train.
- No ticket will be granted at the reservation counter on any railway stations.
- Only passengers with Confirmed E-ticket shall be allowed to enter the Railway stations.
- The ARP( Advance reservation period) for booking of 200 Ac/Non Ac trains is 30 days.
- Trains will have both Ac/Non ac coaches including General coach which is Fully reserved.
- There will be no unreserved coaches in the trains.
- The Trains including passenger services shall remain cancelled till further updates by the ministry.
- Fares (Price) of a ticket be charged according to the Coaches that includes General Coaches, Sleeper and second sittings.
- No Linen, Blankets and curtains shall be provided inside the trains.
- Passenger are requested to download Arogya-setu app before boarding in the train.
- Special Trains help Migrants people as well as those people who wish to travel other than Shramik Trains.
- These Special trains will Runs on regular basis and board the passenger from various cities like New Delhi and Mumbai.
- Screening to be done Before boarding and only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to enter and board the train.
- Concession will only be given to the four Category of Divyangjan and 11 categories of patients.
- Passengers must follows the health protocols as prescribed the central/states government

Booking of Tickets & Charting:-
i. Only online E-Ticketing will be done through IRCTC website or through Mobile App. No tickets will be booked across the reservation counter on any Railway Station. Booking of tickets through ‘agents’, (both IRCTC Agents and Railway Agents) shall not be permitted.
ii. The ARP (advance reservation period) shall be maximum 30 days.
iii. RAC and Wait list will be generated as per extant rules however waiting list ticket holders shall not be permitted to board the train.

iv. No unreserved (UTS) tickets will be issued and no tickets will be issued onboard to any passenger during the journey.
v. No tatkal and premium tatkal booking shall be permitted in these trains.
vi. First chart shall be prepared at least 4 hours before scheduled departure and second chart shall be prepared at least 2 hours((unlike present practice of 30 minutes) before scheduled departure. Only online current booking shall be permitted in between first and second chart preparation.
vii. All passengers shall be compulsorily screened and only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to enter /board the train.
viii. Passengers travelling by these special services will observe the following precautions
1. Only passengers with Confirmed tickets shall be allowed to enter the Railway station.
2. All passengers must wear face covers/masks at the entry and during travel.
3. The passengers shall reach the station at-least 90 minutes in advance to facilitate thermal screening at the station. Only passengers who are found asymptomatic will be permitted to travel.
4. Passengers shall observe social distancing both at the station and on trains.
5. On arrival at their destination, the travelling passengers will have to adhere to such health protocols as are prescribed by the destination state/UT.
Tickets fare, Cancellation and Refund Rules.
Refund of fare in case passenger is not found fit for travelling due to symptoms of Corona shall remain applicable.
As per MHA guidelines all passengers shall be compulsorily screened and only asymptomatic passengers shall be allowed to enter/board the train.
If during screening a passenger has very high temperature/symptoms of Covid-19 etc., he shall not be allowed to travel despite having confirmed tickets. In such case full refund shall be provided to passenger as under:-
- On PNR having single passenger
- On a party ticket if one passenger is found unfit to travel and also all other passengers on the same PNR do not want to travel in that case full refund shall be granted for all passengers.
- On a party ticket if one passenger is found unfit to travel however other passengers on the PNR want to travel in that case full refund of fare shall be granted to passenger who was not allowed to travel.
Concessions: Only four categories of Divyangjan concession and 11 categories of patient concessions are permitted in these special trains.
Catering and Pantry.
No catering charges shall be included in the fare. Provision for pre paid meal booking, e-catering shall be disabled.
Only those Trains which have facilities of pantry can make provision for limited eatables and packaged drinking water on payment basis.
Information to this effect shall be made available to passengers during time of booking ticket.
Passengers are encouraged to carry their own food and drinking water.
All static catering and vending units (Multi Purpose stalls, Bookstalls, Misc./Chemist stalls etc) at Railway stations will remain open. In case of Food Plaza and Refreshments rooms etc, cooked items may be served as take away only with no sit-down eating arrangements in place.
No Blankets, Linen and Curtains.
No Linen, blankets and curtains shall be provided inside the train. Passengers are advised to carry their own linen for the travel
All Zones Railways have been instructed to ensure that there are separate entry and exit gates at Railway stations to the extent feasible so that there is no face to face movement of passengers.
The movement of the passenger(s) as well as the driver of the vehicle transporting the passenger(s) to and fro the Railway Station shall be allowed on the basis of the confirmed e-ticket.
