NEW DELHI:- Indian Railways on Sunday announced that it will gradually restart the operation of a passenger train from Tuesday (May 12), initially with 15 pairs of trains will be operated, the railways ministry said on Sunday.
Due to the Lock down and Coronavirus crises the movement of the passengers have stopped of almost 50 days, but on Sunday the railway minister has said that train operation will start from May 12 and tickets will be available from 11 May at 4:00 pm onward on IRCTC website.(https://www.irctc.co.in/).
''Passengers who will travel with Special train like Rajdhani Express have to visit their Railway station 90 Minutes before arrival of the train. Passengers are also requested to bring their own food, blankets and bed sheet from home'' said by Railway Minister.
''Only Confirmed ticket holder and asymptomatic passengers are allowed to travel in the train'' said by Ministry of home affairs.
The Railway Minister said that only AC coaches will operate and passenger needs to bring their necessity goods with them. he also added that no concession will be given in the fares price.The fares of these trains will be that of Rajdhani trains.

Types of Train will Operate and from which route.
From May 12, Railways is about to start 15 pair of trains, means (total 30 returns journey) from New Delhi Junction which will connect Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad, and Jammu Tawi.

Facilities for Passenger
All passengers shall be provided hand sanitiser at stations and in coaches. On arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to such health protocols as are prescribed by the railways.
