PM Modi Said - Self reliant is the only solution to deal with Corona pandemic.
Lockdown Extension Latest Updates: On Tuesday, PM Modi address to the nation on television at 8:00 pm in which he said that the fourth phase of the coronavirus lockdown in India will be completely different from the earlier three phases of the lockdown. He also added that details of Lockdown 4 will be known to the citizens before 18 May. He further added that we have to move forward from coronavirus and become self-reliant.
PM Narendra Modi started speaking on COVID-19 situation, and said the world has been battling the pandemic for over four months now. Over 3 lakh people have succumbed to the infection, he says, condoling the deaths.

Modi said that country needs to become self-reliant in the world and set an example of progress by fighting coronavirus pandemic situation. India has been an example for progress in the last century, Modi said that the country needs to become self-reliant in the world after the coronavirus pandemic.
"When the coronavirus crisis started then not even a single PPE kit was manufactured in India, only a few N95 masks were available. Today two lakh PPE kits and 2 lakh N95 masks are manufactured in India daily," he added.
Modi request citizens to maintain social distancing, wear masks and stay safe, so that the virus not able to affect us.
The Prime Minister announced a complete package worth Rs 20 lakh crore to deal with the economic crisis due to the COVID-19. He further added that Finance Minister will announce the details of the special economic package from Wednesday.
“This will play an important role in the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’, he said, adding that the the announcements made by the govt so far, the decisions of the RBI and today’s package totals to Rs 20 Lakh Crores or 10% of India’s GDP.” Said by Modi.
The Prime Minister state that Self-reliance India is the only solution to deal with corona pandemic at this time when the pandemic brought the economy to a standstill. “This era of self-reliance will be our new pledge, we have to move on with new resolve.”
This is the prime minister’s fifth address to the nation after first lockdown of country on 25th March Moreover, India has entered into the phase three of the pandemic of Covid-19, in which more than 2,293 deaths and 70,756 people were confirms in the country till yet.
On Monday, PM MODI arrange a meeting with the Chief minister of Several states that includes Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana and West Bengal. The meeting continued for six-hours, in which several minister gives advice to extend the lockdown with some restriction given to areas of red, orange and green zone.
