Coronavirus India News:- Number of positive cases in India reaches above 2070. In which the number of infected or active peoples were 1860, 156 peoples were cured/discharged and 53 deaths on Thursday,the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.

NEW DELHI:- PM Narendra Modi on thursday intracted with all the CM of all states via a video conferancing discussed the way to check the spread of Coronovirus and also the steps taken to control the outbreak of coronavirus over fellow citizens.During the video conferancing many ministers wre also present along with the PM which includes-Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister, Amit Shah and top Bureaucrats.Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated that social distancing, to be at home is only way out and best option to deal with coronavirus.

NEW DELHI:-PM Modi video conferencing with the CM of States to check the spread of coronavirus

PM Modi said that:-

• Issues such as spread of coronavirus, movement of migrants, availability of essentials and contact tracing of Tablighi Jamat participants are also likely to come up for discussion.

• He said that contact tracing of those people who feared to be exposed with the coronavirus and isolation of this people whose test is confirmed

• This is for the second time the prime minister is holding a video conference with the chief ministers after the spread of coronavirus, and the first after the 21-day lockdown came into force. 

• India has been placed under “complete lockdown” for the next 21 days to tackle coronavirus even as the coronavirus positive cases reaches above 2070.

• PM MODI also assured the citizens of India that lockdown of 21 days will not be increased,But the restriction will continue so that spread of virus can be check.

• He also stated that he will share a video meassage with the citizens of India on friday At 9:00am. 

STEPS OF GOVERNMENT:-

• Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared well to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID 19 – the Corona Virus. With active support of the people of India, we have been able to contain the spread of the Virus in our country. 
• The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking precautions as per the advisories being issued by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
• While the central and state governments are taking a slew of measures to ensure the availability of essential commodities in the market, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked people not to panic and stay at home.

• The maximum number of coronavirus positive cases have been reported from Kerala and Maharashtra.(which includes 265 positive cases in kerala with 2 death and 335 cases in Maharashtra with 13 death)

• Union Ministry of Home Affairs has directed all state governments and Union Territories to set up a 24*7 control rooms or offices and start helplines at state or district level to address any grievances or problems faced by providers of goods services this coronavirus lockdown.
• The revised data of positve cases of coronavirus reaches to 216 people in Delhi.

• As per the data provided, the death toll due to COVID-19 was revised down to 53 on thursday.
