Due to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown of many countries, millions of people in India and across the world are sitting in their homes and praying to god when will this coronavirus end? Many speculation was coming about different sources and revealed different dates of ending Covid-19. But Now Researchers in Singapore have answered this question.
Since, China city (Wuhan) is the main epicentre of spreading Covid-19 to the rest of the world, as the virus was unknown before the outbreak began in China in December 2019
Researchers in Singapore have exmained the condition of various countries and predicted a date for 131 countries when novel coronavirus outbreak will end there.
Researchers said that around May 21-22 is the prediction that Covid-19 will end in India.This is the time when coronavirus infection will be 97% down compared to April, which they found as the turning date.
This date is close to what the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) hinted last week. ICMR director Dr Balram Bhargava had said, "One can say we have been able to flatten the curve."
The ICMR said the positivity rate has been stable at around 4.5 per cent in India in recent weeks,and the recovery rate is inceasing that rose to 23.3% .
This stable rate of spread of Covid-19 could be a signal of India having passed the turning date, estimated by the Singaporean researchers.
According to mathematial prediction model researchers predict that by June 1, India will have cured 99% of Covid-19 cases. And, the novel coronavirus will be eliminated by July 26 from India, the researchers estimated.
Strong corroboration model, called the SIR (susceptible-infected-recovered) model., it has been estimated that 80% of Covid-19 cases in China will be cured till February 8 and Feb 27 as End of 97% of virus.
On March 4 as End-99 per cent date for China, which on March 7 reported 99 fresh Covid-19 cases, the first below 100 daily cases since the outbreak- reported by (SIR)
On February 19 China peoples felt that they have past the (SIR) deadliness, when China reported the lowest number of fresh coronavirus infection in a mouth.
After enforcement of Lockdown of Wuhan (China) for 76 days since January, On April 8 China re-opened the lockdown and allowed people to leave from home, as 100% End of Corona cases was reported on April 9.
Also, China has said that almost all the new Covid-19 cases in recent weeks are imported. On April 25, China said it recorded just one local novel coronavirus infection case in 10 days.
The (SIR) model is very close to the ground situation in China. This research prediction brings some hope for Indians.
However, the researchers have themselves warned that "the model behind our prediction is only theoretically suitable for one-stage epidemic. The prediction is also conditioned by the quality of the data.
